Community Voices & Endorsements
Tim is an exceptional attorney. I have had the opportunity to work with him throughout his career — as a prosecutor, a defense attorney, and now as a Judge. In every role, he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to protecting the rights of citizens and ensuring they receive the due process they deserve. His integrity, fairness, and dedication to justice make him an outstanding candidate for Justice of the Peace. I cannot imagine anyone better suited for the position than Tim Wenz.
Detective Commander
Local Law Enforcement Agency
The transition into a judicial role is not a simple one and requires significant understanding of the law and the roles of the prosecutor, defense attorney, pro se litigant, and other law enforcement stakeholders appearing in court. Judge Wenz has over twenty years of legal experience as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney and is in the best position to make decisions that follow the law, ensure just punishment and accountability, promote rehabilitation, and address issues of chemical dependency and mental health that are ever-present in the justice system. His time on the bench has only solidified his experience and why Judge Wenz should be retained as Flathead County Justice of the Peace.

Judge Wenz's two decades of experience as a lawyer are obvious. His deep understanding of the law comes through immediately when you speak to him. He was ready on day 1, which was so important because Justice Court is too fast-paced to learn on the job.
